Frequently Asked Questions

  • Reiki healing is a gentle, non-invasive practice that involves channeling universal energy to promote balance and healing in the body, mind, and spirit. During a session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or near the recipient, allowing the energy to flow where it's needed. This process can help reduce stress, alleviate pain, and encourage emotional and physical well-being. Reiki works holistically, addressing the root causes of imbalances and fostering deep relaxation and healing.

  • Reiki originated in Japan in the early 20th century. It was developed by a Japanese Buddhist named Mikao Usui in 1922 after he experienced a profound spiritual awakening during a retreat on Mount Kurama. Following this experience, Usui developed a healing system that he called "Reiki," which means "universal life energy" in Japanese.

The practice of Reiki involves channeling this universal life energy through the hands of a practitioner to promote healing, balance, and well-being in the recipient. Usui began teaching and practicing Reiki, and it was later introduced to the West by one of his students, Hawayo Takata, who brought Reiki to Hawaii in the 1930s. From there, Reiki spread globally and has since become a widely practiced form of energy healing.

  • Intuitive guidance refers to insights, messages, or understanding that arise from a deep, inner knowing rather than from logical reasoning or external sources. It is often associated with the use of intuition—a natural ability to sense or perceive information beyond the five physical senses.

Intuitive guidance can come in various forms, including:

Inner Knowing: A strong sense or certainty about something without a clear explanation of how you know it.

Visual Images (Clairvoyance): Receiving mental images, symbols, or visions that provide insight or answers to a situation.

Feelings (Clairsentience): Experiencing physical sensations or emotions that convey information about people, situations, or decisions.

Auditory Messages (Clairaudience): Hearing words, phrases, or sounds in your mind that offer guidance.

Gut Feelings: A physical sensation, often in the stomach area, that signals whether something feels right or wrong.

Intuitive guidance is connected to a higher source, such as one's higher self, spirit guides, or the Divine.

It's important to understand that each session and the intuitive insights received will vary; no two experiences are alike. I create a space for information to emerge naturally, without controlling its form, quantity, or the way it presents itself. Embrace the uniqueness of each session as it unfolds!
